The project

A Hill Country home on five acres of live oaks.

Building on rural Hill Country land means the site work is part of the house: access, water, septic, and power all have to be planned alongside the design. ClearBuild coordinated the trade partners and schedule for this home from lot clearing forward.

Location
Lot 5 in the gated 464 Ranch community off Ranch Road 2721 in Blanco County, about 3 miles north of downtown Johnson City.
The home
A four-bedroom, single-story home with 3,560 square feet of living space and a 955-square-foot three-car garage.
Outdoor living
748 square feet of covered outdoor living: a 415-square-foot back porch, a 150-square-foot front porch, and a 183-square-foot covered summer kitchen designed with a 36-inch Alfresco grill.
Materials
Hill Country limestone veneer, a standing-seam metal roof, painted lap siding, cedar porch ceilings, a cedar garage door, and black-framed windows and doors.
